We are made for connection – with God and other people. Through our Groups Ministry at Ignite, we foster both. Whether you are asking questions about God, are new to your faith, or have been following Jesus for years, groups are one of the best ways to grow spiritually. This summer we are offering some short-term Groups, events and classes to help you grow in your faith and connect with others. Join us for “Lasting Joy,” a group study through the book of Philippians, happening Wednesdays in June at 6:30 PM in the Groups Room. Together, we’ll discover a deeper joy that isn’t dependent on life’s circumstances, but is rooted in Christ. We’ll explore how humility shapes our relationships and how contentment grows through trusting God in every season. Money can be one of the biggest sources of stress in life—but what if God wants to use it to grow our trust in Him? “Money Matters” is a 3-week class happening June 9th, 16th, and 23rd from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Ignite Groups Room. We’ll talk about practical topics like budgeting, saving, and getting out of debt, while also learning what it looks like to view our finances through the lens of the gospel. Join us each Thursday in June for yard games and some devotional thoughts on competition. The Bible doesn’t reject competition—it redefines it around humility, discipline, and honoring God rather than just winning. Paul even compares the Christian life to a race, pointing us toward eternal purpose over personal pride. Instead of selfish ambition, Scripture calls us to build others up and play for God’s glory. Join us for “The Bible and Backyard Games” as we explore how faith can transform the way we compete, play, and enjoy community together.
